Three homes were raided in connection with the case of drug theft from the Italian Hospital, and in one of them, police found various items related to medical use, making the situation for the two accused, Hernán Boveri and Delfina Lanusse, increasingly complicated. On March 13th, the Organized Crime Investigations Division of the City Police carried out three operations, two in the Federal Capital and one in Tigre, following an order from the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 47 in the case of qualified theft. According to confirmation from the Argentine News Agency, in one of the homes in the City of Buenos Aires, USB drives, tablets, a cell phone, and notebooks were seized. Additionally, hospital items were confiscated: a box with clinical anesthesia tubes, syringes, needles, and vials with surgical sedatives. What is known about the cases of the anesthesiologist's death and the drug theft The case began after the complaint filed by the legal representative of the Italian Hospital with the prosecutor's office, 'having confirmed through recordings the shortage of surgical supplies and anesthesia capsules.' Although this is a parallel investigation, authorities are trying to determine if the two accused physicians are linked to the death of anesthesiologist Alejandro Zalazar, which occurred at the end of February this year. This is because the professional, who worked at the Ricardo Gutiérrez Children's Hospital, had an IV line connected to his right foot and a similar mark on his left. The autopsy indicates that Zalazar died from congestion, pulmonary edema, and meningoencephalic edema.
